Yes. You can tailor each project brief — custom shot lists, notes on tone, an optional script, direction, orientation (landscape or portrait), content format and length — so every contributor knows exactly what's expected before they hit record.

How are submissions reviewed and approved?

Every upload enters an approval flow, so your admins (Producers) can review, comment, approve or request a re-edit before anything is downloaded. Nothing goes out without a check.

No. Grain is deliberately lightweight — no AI, no built-in editor, no heavy production. It captures and organises great raw content and hands it straight to you or your editing team.
